Mandatory technical procedures:
- Installation and Leveling: Ensure the dishwasher (D/W) is correctly installed and leveled for optimal operation.
- Water Valve Functionality: Confirm the proper operation of the water inlet valve for adequate water flow.
- Drain Installation Review: Examine the drain setup, including the air gap, high loop, or direct connection to disposal, for compliance with standards.
- Door Seal Inspection: Check the door seal for any signs of wear and tear that could lead to leaks.
- Spray Arm Check: Inspect the spray arms for cracks and clogs that could impair water distribution.
- Circulation Motor Test: Use a cup test to assess the circulation motor’s functionality, ensuring effective water movement.
- Heating Cycle Efficiency: Measure the amp draw during the heating cycle to verify the dishwasher’s electrical efficiency.
- Drain Performance: Test the drain operation to ensure water is being expelled correctly.
- Clean Cycle with Affresh: Place an Affresh tablet in the dishwasher and run a complete clean cycle to remove any residue and maintain cleanliness.
